Midas Creek Clubhouse Opening

 

The wait is nearly over. After many setbacks, and an incredibly wet Springtime, we are finally opening up the clubhouse in our Midas Creek Villas Subdivision.

Here at Leisure Villas, we pride ourselves on encouraging a lifestyle-oriented community. When you are looking for a new house, especially if you are 55 and older, you understand the value of friendships. Our clubhouses are great places to bring everyone together and make lasting bonds.

This clubhouse has taken a little longer than most of ours, but at last the wait is over. There are just a few things to know about.

When will the clubhouse open?

Herriman 55+ community

As many of our fabulous homeowners are aware, the clubhouse in our Herriman location, Midas Creek Villas, was started quite a while ago, and we are just now finishing it.

First off, we want to thank you for your patience. That clubhouse has been met with one delay after another.

Secondly, while the main portion of the clubhouse will be opened, allowing you access to the theater room, exercise room, gathering room, and library, the swimming pool will take about a month longer. It had to wait on a concrete deck and fencing to finish, which is only now starting to dry up enough to place concrete.

Once the pool gets installed, it will take another two weeks to cure the plaster and balance the chemicals. We are hoping to have the swimming pool up and running by the middle of July.

Other communities

Currently, we have three other communities under development: The Villas at Legacy Farms, in Saratoga; The Villas At Waters Edge, in Vineyard; and Cherry Creek Villas, in North Ogden.

The Villas At Legacy Farms- The permit for this clubhouse has been submitted, and we’re hoping to begin construction around the beginning of July, which means that this clubhouse should be ready for use, hopefully around the Spring of 2020.

The Villas At Waters Edge- Construction of the clubhouse here, is well under way. The clubhouse here is just over halfway completed, and we expect it to be completed by early fall. If it does not finish in time for the swimming pool to be completed before the swimming season ends, then the pool will be plastered first thing in the Spring, so that it can be opened for use as soon as the swimming season starts for next year. We’ll know more as we get closer to completion.

Cherry Creek Villas- The clubhouse here has been undergoing some design changes, and we’re waiting on final engineering before we can submit it for a building permit. I would not expect this clubhouse to be completed until sometime in 2020.

HOA parties

One of the first things we do when we open the clubhouse for the first time, is invite the whole community over for a potluck party. The Midas Creek Villas opening is tentatively scheduled for June 22nd, assuming that our final inspections work out well.
