We have finally caught up to ourselves.
Last year about this time, everything we had—sold out a year in advance. We were able to honor all of the contracts that we had made, even though our material costs went crazy too. We’re glad that’s over with, and we finally have homes going up for sale again.
We know that many people have been waiting up to a year for our homes to be available, but while we are finally selling within our current Utah active adult communities, we have other delays in our newer subdivisions that prevent us from selling there yet.
What’s for sale?
The Villas at Legacy Farms, in Saratoga Springs Utah, has recently opened new homes for sale. Check out our community page to learn more, or call our sales staff to learn which floorplans are available.
It’s been too long since we had anything open for sale, and we know there is a large list of people wanting to get in. So hurry up and find your home today, while you still can. This subdivision will have its last foundations in by the end of this fall, and will be all sold out soon.
Next, our 55+ community in Vineyard, The Villas at Waters Edge, also has some recently opened new homes to choose from. We are almost half-way completed on our second phase of this subdivision.
This community started out as one of our slower selling neighborhoods, but back then, Vineyard was a relatively unheard of town. Now, I think everyone knows where Vineyard is, and homes are selling faster than ever. So don’t hesitate to come in and see if we have the house you’ve been wanting to retire into.
Tooele is our third senior community that has finally opened up for sales. We’ve just finished framing our 1st building, and have several foundations, including the foundation for the community’s clubhouse, in the ground and being worked on.
While this community will have all of our popular floorplans, and some modified versions of current floorplans, we have yet to complete any of our models. These will be arriving soon, as we plan to stick 4 model homes in our first two buildings.
But just because we have no models, it doesn’t mean that the homes aren’t selling already. Don’t wait too long to pick your home out, else it will be taken. Last month, and the proceeding months, bidding wars were the name of the game. While there is still some of that going on, the market hasn’t cooled down so far that the demand is low. In fact, its still very high. If you’re waiting for prices to drop, you might be waiting forever.
Soon to open
Hearthstone Villas in South Jordan, just south of Salt Lake Community College, is almost ready to sell, but not quite there yet.
We’ve been running into delays after delays as we’ve tried turning in building permits these last few months. So, while we know you’ve been hoping for a home in this area, we’re unfortunately going to have to wait a few months more before we have anything to sell.
We’re also looking hard for more property to buy. If you know of anyone with 15-25 acres of relatively flat land, who would like to see a developer who builds a quality niche community, like our beautiful 55 and older communities, please let us know. We’d love to work with you and them to bring awesome senior living into that area.
