This week, social media is filling with things that people are thankful for. Perfect timing for Thanksgiving too.
With the holidays approaching, and uncertainty about family gatherings still in question, it might be all too easy to complain this holiday season. Despite the current situations we face, there are still many things that we can be thankful for.
One of the things we can be thankful for, is that this year is almost over!
Who knows what next year will bring, but this year sure has been wild.
Anyhow, with the end of the year, comes the holiday season, and for those of you who are looking for a new home in a 55+ community, you might be interested to know what our holiday hours are.
55+ Community Visits
Hours will vary
Usually, we’re able to give you exact times and days that our sales offices will be closed during the holiday season. This however, isn’t a normal holiday season.
As with most builders in Utah, we were slammed with unprecedented sales earlier this Summer and Fall. Because of this, many of our homes are sold out for several months in advance. We usually like to keep a healthy stock of ready-to-move into homes available, but that hasn’t been easy this second half of the year.
Because of this, our sales staff, depending on the community and their personal plans, may be taking extra hours off during this holiday season.
As such, if you would like to visit any of our fabulous 55+ communities during some of your extra spare time this Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, it would be advisable to call up the sales person at the community you are wishing to visit before you go out.
Just because one sales person might be attending one sales office, it is no guarantee this year that they will be attending every sales community.
Availability
While it may be discouraging to be house hunting when all the homes seem to be already sold out, don’t hesitate visiting one of our communities. It is not all-together uncommon for some people’s plans to change, which causes them to opt out of moving.
If you really like one of our active adult communities, and it appears sold out too far in advance, go talk with the sales agent there anyways. They can be very helpful in arranging a call back to you if somebody backs out of a contract.
Since we are generally very good about understanding the changing circumstances in people’s lives, we have often been able to accommodate these canceled contracts. In fact, they happen more often than you might think. So don’t be too discouraged. Let our sales staff know what you’re interested in, and they can keep you in mind, giving you every opportunity to move into the home that fits your needs the best, as availability arises.
Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, and may the New Year bring health and prosperity to you and yours. We look forward to meeting you, and helping you find the home that best suits your needs.
