Custom houses are fun to design, and give you a good dose of pride. But what if you want to live in a 55+ community like ours?
Many planned communities have limited flexibility on floor plans. Will there be something here that speaks to you?
Will you have the right floor plan for me?
What are Seniors looking for in a home?
Finding the right floor plan can be tricky. At Leisure Villas, we’ve been studying the 55+ market for over 16 years now. Our floor plans and amenities reflect what active adults actually are looking for. I’ll ask you a few questions. You can just answer in your head. Most likely we’re on the same page.
Do you want stairs in your home?
Do you want room for family to visit?
Do you want things for family to do when they come to visit?
Are you concerned that you or a family member may have mobility issues in the coming years?
Do you have a pet?
There are a lot of other questions we could ask, but when it comes down to floor plans, this is a good start. Most people who are looking into a 55+ community are emptynesters. Ages range from 55 to 95, though most of them are on the lower to middle end of that range.
This is why we have made the homes compatible with many of the lifestyle changes that affect these ages. Our homes are ADA adaptable and feature open floor plans that have between 2 and 3 bedrooms, but also have enough room for visitors to feel comfortable.
Currently we have three main floor plans, but we’re working on a fourth.
Our copyrighted floor plans have gone through several iterations and have proven incredibly popular with our visitors.
Our smallest floor plan is called a Bristol Court. At 1600 sq feet, you’ll feel right at home from the first second you step in.
Our next size up is called a Windsor Court. Just shy of 1800 sq feet, this popular model is perfect for a price conscious person who likes a little more living space.
The Grandview is our biggest and most popular floor plan to date. At just under 2000 sq feet, you can be sure to fit a family party or just enjoy the room to stretch when it’s only you and your spouse.
Want a little extra room? No problem.
While we try to avoid stairs whenever possible, we also understand that sometimes you may have family staying for an extended period of time. Or maybe you just need a little extra room.
Either way, all three of our floor plans have the option to add a loft above the garage. This can affordably add around 600 sq ft of living space to your overall floor plan. It comes with a walk-in closet and another bathroom.
Check our floor plans out. You can see them here online, or even better, you can visit us and get a real feel for what they’re actually like. There’s a lot of builders, some who even built for people 55 and older, but most of them don’t actually build a home with you in mind.
Come see how we’re different. See how we do it right.
