Hearthstone Villas is our largest 55+ community to date. We’ll be building it in 3 phases. Below is a map that shows what will coming soon. If you’ve been waiting for Leisure Villas to put a luxury community for active adults into South Jordan, the wait is almost over.
For the last decade or more, we at Leisure Villas have been searching for an opportunity to bring our popular 55+ communities into South Jordan. Even when we first began negotiations to finally acquire a parcel of land for this purpose, rumor spread quickly and in short order, we were getting countless phone calls asking when we’d be ready to sell these homes.
Also, since this is our largest community, we’ve decided to experiment with scaling up some of our amenities. For the first time in our history, we’re not only including a community clubhouse, the likes of which our loyal homebuyers have come to love, but we’re also going to install pickleball courts in this community.
Pickleball, as it turns out, has become a huge staple in active adult recreation. For this reason, we’re going to install some of these courts here, and see how well they are received.
Leisure Villas has long been recognized as the premiere builder of 55+ communities along the Wasatch front, and our focus has always spanned beyond simply building a quality home, to building a community that fosters the sort of lifestyle that you’ve come to expect out of retirement.
This community, like all of our senior communities, is made exclusively for people 55 and older. Our buyers are often retired, or nearly so. They look forward to spending more time relaxing, playing, and enjoying the good company of their neighbors and visiting family. And since our community clubhouse has a swimming pool, you can bet that those grandkids love to come and visit.
Hearthstone Villas will include model homes such as our largest long-standing favorite, the Grandview, as well as our Windsor Court, the Bristol Court, and a new one that we call the Stratford.
As buildable lots quickly are disappearing in the Salt Lake Valley, there will be fewer opportunities for communities like these to be built in the cities you love, like South Jordan. At just over 5 homes per acre, when most builders are trying for 8 to 16 or more homes per acre, Leisure Villas has become one of the few low-density builders in the area. So don’t sit back, waiting for another nearby. Who knows when or if we’ll be able to bring another one in down the road. It took us over ten years to find this property, and we’re sure that it’s going to be one of our most premiere locations to date.
