Little rascals? There’s a few running around here, mostly with a bunch of older ones. And there are no secret passwords or signs to get in either.
This clubhouse has everything you need. So far, each of our senior communities have included an awesome clubhouse, especially designed for the 55+ buyers.
Clubhouse Tour Part 1
What do people 55 and older want in a community.
There are many reasons that someone would want to move into a 55+ community. It’s usually not because they’re looking for a place to die. They’re usually looking for a place LIVE!
Our senior communities are better described as empty nester communities. Most of the people here have kicked all their kids out of the home and now just let them come visit if they promise to bring the grandkids over.
But the old homestead is just not cutting it for you anymore. There’s plenty of reasons why not, but we won’t get into that right now. What we do want to discuss is why you want to move here and to show you why we have what you’re looking for.
Let’s tour our clubhouse.
We’ll start in the clubhouse. From the moment you walk through the front door, you’ll be impressed with the rich look and feel of the grand entrance. Our first stop is going to be the great room. From here, there are many other rooms that branch off. This one however is the most important room in the clubhouse and it’s often the one that is completely missing from most other clubhouses.
Granted, many other clubhouses have a “great” room. Unfortunately, the only thing that makes them great, is the expensive leather sofa that is crammed in there. These rooms ought to be renamed “closets with furniture” rooms. The whole point of a clubhouse is so that you can meet, mingle, and have a party. What’s a clubhouse without a club?
All of our clubhouses are scaled so that we can accommodate large group gatherings. The bigger our community, the bigger the clubhouse. Most other builders assume that it’s residents will never meet and mingle. We think that’s one of the biggest reasons you’re coming to a community like this.
That’s why, every month, we help sponsor a community dinner. It’s usually a potluck sort of thing, with us providing a portion of the meal.
The decorative tables are all pushed to the side and out come the folding tables. Everyone in the community, both those living there and those who are thinking about living there, are invited. This is one of our most popular events of the month, though it’s by far the least of our activities.
This great room is also available for private parties. We’ll often see baby showers, Christmas parties, you name it.
Check out the rest of our clubhouse.
Over the next few days, we’ll be touring the rest of the clubhouse. You’re welcome to follow along or you can just come visit us and see it in person.
While the basic design and decorating are nice, that’s not what I hope you take away from this tour. I want you to see how the various amenities of this clubhouse can add to your overall lifestyle. The people who move to a Leisure Villas community, move there because they want a better quality of life.
There’s a lot to do in a 55+ community, especially one of ours. We’ve been at this longer than anyone in Utah. By now, we ought to know what delivers the best value for your time, money, and lifestyle.
