Clubhouse Tour Part 4
Have you ever owned a pool before?
For some reason, even though humans are land creatures by nature, we are always drawn to water. The best hikes take you to ponds or waterfalls. People tend to congregate around water features in parks. We’re even willing to bottle it up and pay extra for the wet stuff when it comes so cheaply through our kitchen taps.
Let’s face it, people love water. But if you’ve ever owned a swimming pool in your yard, you are no doubt familiar with the headache of maintaining it. Keeping a pool running is a big job. There’s chemicals to balance, filters to clean, machines to maintain, and safety to remember.
Wouldn’t it be nice to have free access to a pool, but have it professionally maintained? We’ve got you covered.
Exercise or play?
We all go to the pool for different reasons. Some of us like the workout. Whether it’s water aerobics or swimming laps, the pool can be a great way for seniors of all ages to stay in shape.
Some of us just like to play. We can bring the grandkids over and teach them to swim and splash. Some of the fondest memories I have of my grandfather is him helping me learn how to swim. I always looked forward to going to the pool with him.
Of course, maybe you just like to open a good book alongside the pool and catch a few rays. Nobody ever said you had to get wet to enjoy a pool.
Maybe you just need to cool off and soak away some of the summer’s heat. Have pool party and invite your friends.
Will I ever use it?
Maybe you’re wondering how often you’ll actually get in the pool. I can’t answer that for you. If you like to swim in solitude, there’ll be plenty of opportunity for that. But one thing we’ve seen over the years is that people enjoy moving to our communities because it offers them a better lifestyle.
Their old neighborhoods were simply streets with houses. Here you can actually get to know everybody. You can make new friends and be around people who are near your same life-stage. The swimming pool is just one more way that you can come together and find common interests.
Everything here is designed with you in mind. Whether you want to strengthen your bonds with your neighbors or have a more exciting place for your kids and grandkids to come and visit, Leisure Villas tries to make that lifestyle a reality for you. You may be getting up there in years, but you still know how to have a good time.
You’ve had a great 55+ years so far. Come see how we can help you make the most out of the next several decades.
