The Villas At Legacy Farms

Over the last few years, Saratoga Springs in Utah, has been seeing a lot of new growth.

Not too long ago, Lehi was the main city that bordered Utah and Salt Lake Counties. As Lehi gets bigger, a lot of that growth has been spilling into Saratoga.

When you visit Saratoga now, it reminds me a lot of what Lehi looked like 20 years ago. Not only that, but it’s pretty close to the rest of the world.

But the most incredible thing about Saratoga Springs, is that they now have a new 55+ Community being built by Leisure Villas! (I’m waiting for cheers and lots of thankyou emails)

Progress

While schedules often change, we’re currently on track to finish our first building in Saratoga by the end of this September or the beginning of October. This first building will also have two models in it, so when you come to visit, you won’t feel as though you need to drive to another one of our senior communities to see what our floorplans look like in person.

If you do come to visit right now, though, you will be able to get a feel for the exteriors that we are putting on these buildings. The first building as you enter the community has a fresh new stone, which will go well with the matching brick of the building next to it.

Aside from doing both brick and stone buildings in this community, there will also be multiple colors on the non-mason surfaces. So far, these building are looking sharp. But even as good as they look right now, they’ll really pop once the landscaping is in.

We’re also about ready to re-submit our plans for the clubhouse. We’ve gotten redlines back from the city on it already, and have been working with our architect to get those requests finalized. We’re hoping to start construction on that within the next month or two.

Why Saratoga?

I’ve mentioned this in previous articles, but lets look again at all the great things that make this community so ideal. First, we have the amenities. Our clubhouse will come with our standard pool, billiards, library, exercise room, theater, and gathering room. Due to some requirements by the city, we may be turning our warming kitchen into a prep station without a stove and oven, but still plenty of room to fill the countertops with crockpots and food for serving for all of your potluck or other sorts of parties.

Nearby, like right across the street, are the new Saratoga baseball diamonds with a park, also there is inland park, and the trails through the wetlands there, the hot springs to relax in, and also the Legacy trail that goes up and beyond Thanksgiving Point.

Are you LDS? We’re within about a mile +/- of the new Saratoga temple that is soon to be built.

Not only do you have pristine views of Utah Lake, but you also have quick access to Redwood Road and Pioneer Crossing, letting you get anywhere you want to go, fast.

How to find us

This community is tucked inside the city a ways, where not many people can find it, unless they know where to look. It used to be that everyone traveling to Saratoga, would go along Saratoga road, by the lake. Now, that road is used much less frequently, as the bulk of the growth around Saratoga is happening closer to what used to be called the 4-corners area.

So to find this community, you can take that old Saratoga Road off of Pioneer crossing, and head towards the old swimming pool, and we’re just a few hundred yards north of the pool. You can also take redwood road to 400 S. and turn towards the lake, and you’ll find us.
