We’ve been getting a lot of questions lately on upcoming 55+ communities. One that has many people excited is Country View Villas, our exclusive community for folks 55 and better.
This new development in Tooele is located at 1000 N. and about 220 E.
As of June, 2020, no homes here are for sale yet, but we have begun preparing the land for construction.
Why have people been so excited about this community? Well, there is a few reasons. Maybe one of these will get you thinking about it also. Let’s talk Tooele.
Country View Villas
If you’ve been following rumor, then you know that we’re about to start our very first active adult community in Tooele. This is the city that’s so far away, yet so quick to get to.
As of June, we’ve been working hard at getting sewer and storm drains installed at this new development. By this fall, we’re hoping to have the majority of the underground dirt-work completed, so that we can begin installing foundations.
We’re still waiting a little longer though, before we open the community up for sales. But check back here often. As soon as we open them up to the public, you’ll see and hear about them here, on our website.
Tooele is an interesting city. Its clear out of the way, yet for folks needing to commute to Salt Lake, it’s a surprisingly quick car ride away.
Also, there’s a smaller town feel to this remote, yet still present city.
One of the really cool things about Tooele, is that it’s also not as expensive as living in the Salt Lake or Utah counties. If you’re like me, you’ve probably watched the home-buying market explode over the last 10 years in Utah.
Apparently, everybody loves Utah and wants to live here. Its making for a robust housing market. At the same time, its pricing a lot of people out of a new home, or a used home for that matter.
Tooele’s prices have gone up, there’s no doubt about that. But they’ve started from a lower price point as well. So if Salt Lake County feels a little too expensive for you, then maybe you should consider a trip out to Country View Villas, and see if the fresh country air is a little more to your liking and budget.
Granted, we don’t have prices available yet for this community, nor do we have a sales office, but when we open them up for sale, we’ll let you know.
When to plan a move…
If Tooele sounds interesting to you, or if you’re a long-time Tooele resident who is curious about living in a community dedicated to folks who are 55 and older, then stick around. Around Springtime, we’ll likely start moving people into this awesome new community.
That means that in the not too distant future, you should start planning your move. Being retired, or nearly retired comes with some advantages. When you live so near to others your age, you practically have a whole new social network built into your community. And by social network, I’m not talking about the online sort. I’m talking about the kind where you can actually talk and get together as often as you like.
Living in a 55+ community is all about the lifestyle. It is a great way to meet new friends and to make the most of your retirement years.
