Vineyard’s 55+ Community Update

If you are 55 or better, and have been contemplating moving to Vineyard, Utah, then you owe yourself a trip to The Villas At Waters Edge.

Over the last couple of years, we’ve been working hard to get this new age restricted community up and going. We’re excited to update you with our latest developments.

With all the construction happening around Vineyard, we might be hard to find, but come looking. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with this cute community tucked in, only one block away from the shoreline of Utah Lake.

What’s Happening as of 11/11/19

Clubhouse Update

For our residents and recent visitors, you may have noticed that the Clubhouse at the Villas At Waters Edge community is nearly completed. Last week, we paved the parking lot, and soon you should expect to see the back patio getting concrete.

Once that is in, weather pending, we’ll get the pool fence in and hopefully get occupancy soon after. Once that happens, the clubhouse will open for use, and we’ll be able to get parties and activities going.

Furniture, exercise equipment, and decorations have been ordered, and should hopefully arrive by the time we are ready to open the place up.

The swimming pool will not be opened this year. Sorry for anyone who was hoping to do some polar bear plunges, but it didn’t make any sense to maintain a pool that wouldn’t get used. It may even look like the pool isn’t finished.

While the equipment will all be fully installed and ready to run, the pool shell itself will remain un-plastered. This is because the plaster requires the pool to be filled, or else it will not set up properly. But as soon as the weather warrants it in the spring, we’ll get the pool plastered, filled, balanced, and opened so that our residents and their guests can enjoy it for the entire season.

Phase II

As we finish selling out the first phase of our Vineyard Community, we’ll begin building in the second phase. Already, you may have seen some work being done over there. If you are already living here, then thank you for your patience with any dust that we might have kicked up.

Over the next month, we plan on finishing this phase, and being ready to place foundations for our next set of homes on that half of the community.

As we build, we sometimes make minor changes to floorplans, or styles. Our floorplans are always evolving. Often, though not always, we might elect to make these modifications when we start a new community, or when we start a new phase of a community.

Rest assure, any changes we make are generally minor, and happen in response to changes in suppliers, of materials, processes, or other logistical or market variables. While we may or may not change anything in phase 2 of this community, it will still look and feel as though it belongs to this same development.

If you’re not sure if this is the right time to move to the Villas At Waters Edge, might I suggest that you come and talk with Josh, our friendly, no hassle representative here? He currently has an open house in our Grandview model, and will soon move that office into the Clubhouse upon its completion.

He’s there most days from Monday through Saturday at 10am to 5pm. While there, you can walk through our model homes, maybe even meet some of the neighbors in this social environment and see why so many adults are excited about a Leisure Villas home.
